i have decided i do not want to work in an office being bored to death forever!!!! yay!
i'm taking the self-education + workshop approach to becoming a certified personal trainer (cpt). this means i am going to start designing a serious web site to market myself. i think it might be the end of this self-indulgent little bloggy (but not yet! DON'T WORRY! i will be here another 6 mos at least). i am not going to censor my personality, which would be impossible/tragic, rather i'm going to try and sell myself not-in-a-sexual-way through the interwebs.
i know i don't have any commenters or anything, but hopefully some facebook friends will follow the link i post and give me just a TASTE of their thoughts.
what do you look for in a personal trainer? i want to provide real value for $$$!
does a blogspot web address look unprofessional? should i get my own domain? WHAT SHOULD I CALL IT??
do you read fitness/nutrition blogs? what are some of your favorites?
please help!

I am studying right now for my CPT too. I went to school for 4 years and passionately studied about public health and yet I sit at a desk all day answering phones and being everyone's bitch (the CEO, director of HR, etc.) I want to have more control over my schedule and my life.
My partner is a personal trainer, and although she works all sorts of crazy hours to accommodate everyone, she enjoys what she does.
Best of luck!! (which program are you going through?) I am doing ACSM (american college of sports medicine).
Congrats for your decision! I just made the same decision a few months ago as well.. I want to become a photographer! :D In fact I had my first real photoshoot as an assistant today... :D
